House Of Worship Security Seminar In Middlesex County
A security preparedness seminar for members of area houses of worship will be held, the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office said.

Authorities will hold a security preparedness seminar for the members of area houses of worship.
The seminar will be held on Monday, Aug. 10, from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the North Stelton AME Church, 123 Craig Ave., Piscataway, according to a news release from Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Director Chris Rodriguez of the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness.
Leaders and members of houses of worship of all faiths are invited to attend the seminar, where they “will be provided with practical security guidelines, a comprehensive plan for the development of security coordinators, as well as contact information for relevant local, state, and federal agencies,” Monday’s news release said.

Representatives from the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, the state Attorney General’s Office, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey will conduct the seminar.
Attendees must pre-register for the event through their house of worship or by calling Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office Agent Reggie Johnson at (732) 745-8430.
