Hub City Sounds is a FREE performing arts series with events for all tastes, including family audiences! Held at various locations and times throughout New Brunswick, NJ events include: Jazz and Gospel in the Park, Kid’s Rock Weekend (rock bands StarFish and Preschool of Rock), 80’s EDM Dance Party (featuring an outdoor visual arts display & fire breathers!), Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration (enjoy traditional dances & music), Crossroads in the Park (Tony Award winning Crossroads Theatre Company & BAM school of the arts perform live), They CAN Dance(An elegant evening of dance featuring works by emerging choreographers), Central Jersey Jazz Festival, Rock on New Brunswick! (weekend of punk music featuring Don Giovani recording artist Screaming Females) and Kid’s Day at The Park (performances & interactive lessons by George Street Playhouse & American Repertory Ballet).
