East Brunswick's Jax was eliminated from American Idol, but her fans will still get a chance to see her perform with the show's tour.

Jax was eliminated from the American Idol contest Tuesday night, but her fans will still get a chance to see her perform when she goes on the American Idol Live! tour this summer.

The 19-year-old from East Brunswick made it to the American Idol Top 3, but was eliminated on Tuesday.

Jackie Cole “Jax” Miskanic, is still New Jersey’s most successful American Idol contestant ever, according to NJ.com.

This season’s two remaining contestants, Clark Beckham and Nick Fradiani, will face off Wednesday for the top spot.

This summer, Jax will join her fellow top five contestants for the American Idol Live! tour, which begins in July in Florida. Later that month, they will perform at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown. In August, the tour visits the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank and Caesars in Atlantic City.
