Louis C.K., Three Dog Night Will Perform In New Brunswick This Fall

Comedian Louis C.K., Three Dog Night, plus Fleetwood Mac cover band Tusk, will be at State Theatre. Tickets go on sale this Friday:

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Some big-name acts are coming to Central Jersey this fall: Comedian Louis C.K. and Three Dog Night, plus popular Fleetwood Mac cover band Tusk, are all booked for shows at State Theater in New Brunswick.

Louis C.K. will do a one-night show at the New Brunswick theater Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. General admission tickets are not yet available for the show, but will go on sale for a pre-sale this Friday, July 15 at 10 a.m. A special "artists' pre-sale" will be July 12 at 11 a.m. and tickets for benefactors/donors of State Theater will go on sale at 11 a.m. July 13.

Louis C.K. is six-time Emmy® award-winning comedian. He is back to doing comedy shows across the nation after five women accused him of sex harassment during the #MeToo movement.

He also just wrapped up filming a movie “Fourth of July" on a lake in Maine. The movie is written by himself and Joe List. It has not yet been released to theaters.

Louis is the creator, writer, director, and star of the Peabody Award-winning shows Louie and Horace and Pete. In January 2015, he became the first comedian to sell out Madison Square Garden three times for the same tour.

He has released over 10 stand-up specials, including his most recent Sorry (2021) and Sincerely, Louis C.K. (2020), both currently available on his website. Previous specials include Shameless, Chewed Up, Hilarious, Word—Live at Carnegie Hall (audio), Live at the Beacon Theater, Oh My God, Live at the Comedy Store, and Louis C.K. 2017.

70s classic rock band Three Dog Night will perform at State Theater at 8 p.m. Oct. 14.

Now in their fifth decade of performing, they've produced such hits as "Black and White," "Never Been to Spain," "Mama Told Me (Not To Come)," and "Joy to the World."

And Tusk, a Fleetwood Mac cover band, plus EagleMania, an Eagles cover band, will play there in a join show Friday, Sept. 16 at 7 p.m.
