Man Groped 2 Women Walking On Rutgers Campus Monday Night, Police Say

Two more women said they were approached by the same man shortly after 9 p.m., no one was hurt in the incidents, according to authorities.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Two women say they were groped by a man Monday night as they walked through the College Avenue campus in New Brunswick, and two more were approached by the same man moments later, according to the Rutgers University Police Department.

Police say they think all the incidents were committed by a single perpetrator in rapid succession; the man is described as a 30–40-year-old Indian male, standing five-feet-nine-inches tall, who was wearing blue jeans, a long-sleeved white shirt, and beige baseball cap at the time.

All four of the women — who do not know each other — said a man they did not know approached them, touched their "intimate parts" and then fled, said police. All four of the incidents happened in quick succession between 9 and 9:20 p.m. Monday, said police.
