New Brunswick Pedestrian Hit In Hit And Run Friday, Police Say

Minutes later that same night, there was a van-car collision on Georges Road where one driver was killed.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A pedestrian was hit by a car in a hit and run Friday night in New Brunswick, said the Middlesex County Prosecutor.

The man survived, but the driver who hit him remains at large.

He was hit at 10:48 p.m. in the area of Lee Avenue and Seaman Street in New Brunswick. When police got to the intersection, they found an injured man in the road.

He was transported from the scene to a nearby hospital.

Just minutes later, at approximately 10:50 p.m. that same night, there was a fatal van-car collision on Georges Road in North Brunswick, where the driver of the car had to be pulled out of the wreckage and was pronounced dead.

The driver of the van and passengers were injured.
