New Brunswick Police Officers Deliver Nearly 400 Turkeys To Local Charities

The NBPD helped to make sure all New Brunswick residents could have a turkey on Thanksgiving.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ— New Brunswick police officers took the time to give back this week, helping to deliver nearly 400 turkeys to local charities.

The largest delivery was to Suydam Reformed Church on Drift Street, which received 240 turkeys, as well as bags full of trimmings that were handed out to residents.

Other local organizations that received turkeys included Dina's Dwellings, Christ Church, Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple and First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens.

The distribution is an annual partnership with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and the police department, to ensure all residents can have a Thanksgiving turkey.
