• Milk & Cookies Series: The B-Side Band Holiday Jam (newjerseystage.com) — Families in New Brunswick can plan ahead for a low-cost, sensory-friendly holiday show when The B-Side Band brings its Milk & Cookies performance to the State Theatre Studio on December 12. Kids ages 3–8 can enjoy pop, soul, and seasonal favorites, plus a cookie and milk, at this interactive introduction to live theater right on Livingston Avenue.
   

• Artists and arts fans at a loss, as key NJ website announces closure (northjersey.com) — New Brunswick's State Theatre is singled out as one of the New Jersey venues that supported NJArts.net, a statewide arts website that will shut down at the end of 2026 after 12 years. Founder Jay Lustig cites falling ads and donations, plus a hit-driven media culture that sidelines arts coverage. He's exploring ways the project might continue in a different form.
