In light of the recent home invasion robberies that have occurred in the Middlesex County area, the East Brunswick Department of Public Safety is asking all residents to be especially vigilant for unusual or suspicious activities or persons.

It is important to note there have been no incidents in East Brunswick Township.

This message is precautionary only. Residents are reminded to make use of exterior lighting on their homes and to always check who is outside before opening the door.

As well, be aware of your surroundings at all times, at work, at home, and traveling between the two.

Please be extra cautious if carrying large amounts of cash or valuable items. If at anytime anyone suspicious is spotted, please contact East Brunswick Police immediately by calling 9-1-1.
