New Brunswick, N.J., November 5, 2018 – A number of physicians at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey – the state’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center – have been recognized by New Jersey Monthly magazine as a ‘Jersey Choice Top Doctor.’
“These physicians represent the extraordinary clinical care provided to patients at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Their compassionate manner and exceptional expertise in their specialty area complements that of their multidisciplinary teams comprised of physicians and researchers working to advance the future of cancer care and scientific discovery. We greatly appreciate this recognition of our team’s unwavering dedication to carrying out this mission,” Rutgers Cancer Institute Director Steven K. Libutti, MD, FACS, who is also senior vice president of oncology services for RWJBarnabas Health and vice chancellor for cancer programs at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences, Rutgers University.
Thousands of New Jersey-based doctors were asked to give physician recommendations, which were researched by an independent firm commissioned by the magazine to conduct the 2018 survey.
