PISCATAWAY, NJ — On Friday afternoon, Piscataway Township released the below body-cam video that shows the infamous Middlesex borough alligator trying to scamper away many times before police captured it.
It was shortly after 10 p.m. last Thursday when a resident spotted the four-foot-long alligator in the middle of the road in front of a home on 2nd Avenue in Piscataway.
While many officers responded, it was ultimately Piscataway Patrol Officer Ian Paglia who was able to capture and subdue the animal. The video is from his body-worn camera.
