The lucky students will visit New Brunswick's sister city in Japan for eight days.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ-- Six middle school students will have the experience of a lifetime when they visit Japan as part the New Brunswick Sister Cities Association.

The second week of November, the six students will visit Fukui, Japan as junior ambassadors for the city of News Brunswick. Local families will host them during their stay, immersing them in the country. They'll have the opportunity to visit historical sites, museums, meet with local officials and attend a day of school at Shimizu Junior High School.

In addition to the six students, New Brunswick Middle School Principal Jeremiah Clifford, two middle school teachers, the Director of International Programs for the City and the Deputy Envoy for the City of New Brunswick will also make the trip.
