4 Bergen Kids To Sing 'America The Beautiful' At US Open

Saraya Angbazo, Sisley Carretas, Jake Shanker and Jaden Todd will sing at the world's highest-attended sporting event.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Four county kids will sing "America The Beautiful" at the US Open tennis tournament, one of whom is returning for a second consecutive year.

Jake Shanker, a 13-year-old from Tenafly, performed at the US Open last year and will sing at the 2017 Arthur Ashe Kids' Day Saturday.

The three newcomers are Saraya Angbazo, 10, and Jaden Todd, 12, both of Tenafly, and Sisley Carretas, 11, of Dumont.

Shanker sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the semi-finals of last year's US Open. He has also performed in several musicals, including "The Sound of Music" and "Guys & Dolls."

Angbazo has appeared in several off-Broadway productions, including "Annie" and "Arabian Nights." She will perform Sept. 4.

Todd has been singing since he was a toddler. He will perform at the US Open on Tuesday.

More than 200 children auditioned to sing at the US Open by submitting performances online.
