• Two Bergenfield teens charged with assault after good Samaritan stabbed (northjersey.com) — An 18-year-old New Milford resident is recovering from non-life-threatening stab wounds after intervening in an altercation at Veterans Memorial Park in neighboring Bergenfield, police said. Two local teenagers were quickly located, charged as juveniles with assault-related offenses, and detained, while authorities emphasize all defendants are presumed innocent.
