Anti-Semitic Vandalism Found At Bergen High School Sports Field, Report Says

Eggs and shaving cream in the shape of a swastika found at Dwight-Englewood High School, report says.

The Dwight-Englewood High School community will address the issue today of anti-Semitic vandalism found at a sports field recently, The Record reported.

Members of the school’s varsity girl soccer team found eggs and shaving cream in the shape of a swastika and the word “JEWS!!”, the report states.

The school is working with police to review security camera footage, said Rodney De Jarnett, the head of school at Dwight-Englewood, said in the report.

De Jarnett said the school has never had anything like this at the school, the report said.

Englewood Police Capt. Timothy Torell said a detective was sent to the field to look for evidence and that the department is treating the vandalism as a bias incident, the report states.
