Bergen County Couple Wins $226,000 After Playing Jersey Cash 5

Fairview couple wins half of the $453,000 jackpot. Other winning ticket has not been claimed.

One Bergen County couple was thirsty after a jog so they stopped at a convenience store and purchased some water and five Jersey Cash 5 lottery tickets.

The Fairview husband wife are now $226,000 richer.

The Stop N Go convenience store in Cliffside Park is one of two retailers that sold winning Jersey Cash 5 tickets for the $453,000 jackpot for the Nov. 22 drawing. The other winning ticket was sold at Lodi Mini Market. That ticket has not been claimed yet.

“Overnight, they have become two more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners,” said Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery executive director.

The stores will each receive $2,000 for selling the winning tickets. The winning numbers were 02, 06, 10, 27, 31.
