Cresskill Shortstop Trevor Romeo Named 1st Team All County

6'5" Cresskill shortstop will cap off his high school career tomorrow in the NJ Top 100 All Star Game representing Northeast NJ.

Trevor Romeo Senior shortstop from Cresskill was recently named 1st Team All Bergen County he had a remarkable season as he led his team in every offensive category. In addition he helped guide the Cougars to a bid in the County Tournament and a deep run into the State Playoffs knocking off the #2 seed along the way

Trevor led all of North Jersey with 46 hits, 16 doubles and 8 triples. He was 3rd in RBI with 36 and scored 30 runs and stole 21 bases in 22 attempts.  He finished his high school career with over 100 hits in only 3 seasons.

Trevor will continue his college career at national baseball powerhouse Brookdale Community College. Brookdale finished their season at #2 in the National Polls.

Trevor will play his last high school game Tuesday representing the Northeast All Stars at Diamond Nation as they take on the Central NJ All Stars. The Northeast Team is comprised of the top 25 players in Bergen, Hudson and Passaid Counties. Romeo is the only player selected from a Group 1 School and the first player from Cresskill ever chosen to play. The game is well attended by professional scouts and only the Top 100 players in the state are chosen for the 4 teams. Trevor was also an Honor Roll student.
