Our pool of Latin American au pairs wishing to arrive in the U.S. is as robust as ever. Building relationships: Latins are fully invested in relationships, and are very quick to open up to others. They are fun-loving, playful, and generally happy people.

Communication style: When communicating, Latins tend to focus on the big picture—they aren't as bothered by little things, but they may avoid or have difficulty handling confrontation.
Structure: Latins tend to be more flexible with time and are not constantly in a rush. They like to take time to enjoy the smaller things in life, like having conversation after dinner or over a coffee. Likewise with rules, they may take some things more as a suggestion, rather than a steadfast rule.

Childcare: Many Latin Americans come from big families, and are accustomed to caring for their younger siblings, cousins, and extended family.
