Dora and Diego: Let's Explore! at the Liberty Science Center
Eight things you need to know about this great new exhibit that will entertain and educate your kids.
If you are looking for a fun and educational activity for your kids this fall or winter, check out the new interactive Dora and Diego: Let’s Explore! exhibit at the Liberty Science Center.

2. Is it interactive? Yes! Liberty Science Center always provides hundreds of opportunities for kids to learn by trying new experiences for themselves. In Dora and Diego: Let’s Explore!, kids can:

Put on a spacesuit, pilot a rocket ship, and test their memory as they navigate to the Purple Planet;
Climb aboard and steer the Pirate Piggies pirate vessel;

Pick posies, play with bird and insect puppets, and wear kid-sized bird and butterfly wings in Isa the Iguana’s Garden;
Practice caring for and helping rainforest animals in Diego’s Animal Rescue and First Aid Station;
Flex their muscles in the Rainforest Maze by swinging on the Bobo Brothers’ monkey bars, crawling through a fallen tree, climbing across Jaguar Mountain, and jumping across the River Rocks.
3. What topics does it cover? Following the themes of the TV show, this exhibit lets kids learn more about animal conservation and caring for the environment as they engage in active play surrounded byDora and her friends.
4. What is your favorite part? We love the hands on animal conservation and care themes such as the Animal Rescue and First Aid Station.
5. What do parents like best about the exhibition? That kids can use their imaginations to role play, get physically active (so important in the cooler months ahead), and find new friends every time they visit.
6. How long and when is the exhibit open? The exhibit is open through January 24. LSC is closed Mondays during fall and winter except holidays and school vacations. It is always best to check LSC.org for the hours on the day you plan to visit.
7. How long should we allow to enjoy the exhibit? An average visit to LSC is about 4 hours because there is so much to see and do. Families can expect to spend an hour or more in the exhibit depending on the child’s age.
