Dan Harmatz, a long-time community volunteer and a couple who have preserved their historic home will be honored at New Milford's annual birthday celebration Sunday, June 10, at 2 pm at the New Milford Public Library. The event, co-sponsored by the library's Board of Trustees and the New Milford Historic Preservation Commission, marks the 335th anniversary of Demarest family's settlement of New Milford as well as the 90th anniversary of the borough's incorporation.
