Tai Chi in The Park

In a serene park setting, participants will learn traditional foundation movements for tai chi, including cloud hands and ward-off; the beginning of the 24-movement Yang style form; and tai chi sword basic controls and movement.

The ancient arts of tai chi and qi gong are well known for their therapeutic benefits (alleviating chronic pain, increasing coordination and balance, and improving circulation and breathing, etc.).  For the serious practitioner, tai chi and qi gong also expand the awareness of oneself and one’s connection to the world.  This improves the study and development of one’s self in martial arts, work, personal relationships and life.
