Ellis Island: the portal to NJ with author Barry Moreno who will speak about his books An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Ellis Island  and The Children of Ellis Island.  Copies of his books will be available for sale and he will sign them after his talk.  The Immigrant experience was hopeful and frightening and required courage and persistence.  What was it like to come off a steam ship onto Ellis Island and wonder if you would be allowed in, if you looked healthy enough, if your children would be permitted?  Join us for a fascinating evening.

All of the Members Evenings are held at the Oradell Borough Hall, 355 Kinderkamack Road (Between Church and Center Streets), Oradell.  Suggested donation: Members $5, Public $8, Students FREE. These events are appropriate for students from 4th Grade to 104 Years old!  JOIN US!
