The fifth annual event, hosted by the New York Giants, took place on Saturday Feb. 19 and Sunday Feb. 20 at the new Meadowlands Stadium. The event raises money for the Special Olympics of New Jersey. The Phoenixes raised more than $1,700 for the charity and more than $135,000 was raised by all teams who competed.
Teams play six-on-six flag football games in several divisions including competitive, co-ed and recreational. All teams are guaranteed to play at least three games on the field at the stadium.
