We are proud to display the newly renovated Flag Drop Box in front of the Lt. Louis J. Faller VFW Post 4290, located at 267 Madison Ave in New Milford, NJ.
As part of their Silver Awards, New Jersey Girl Scout Troop 60078 enlisted the help of the Arts Department at New Milford High School to design a new mural for the Flag Drop Box where anyone can properly dispose of worn or tattered American Flags. The flags will be used at ceremonies across Bergen County to teach younger generations how to properly destroy a flag and the ceremony that surrounds it.
