New Milford 2018 Halloween Sex Offender Safety Map

NEW MILFORD, NJ — Before kids go out trick or treating on Halloween, fall is a good time to take an inventory of who is living in your neighborhood. New Milford currently has four registered Tier 2 sex offenders listed on the New Jersey Sex Offender Registry.

The pins on the map represent the addresses of the offenders convicted of sex crimes. Roll your cursor over the pins, and you will see more information pop up, including the registered sex offender's name, address, date of birth, and convicted charges.

The registry includes Tier 2 and Tier 3 offenders: Those on Tier 2 have a moderate risk of re-offending, and Tier 3 offenders pose a "relatively high risk," police said. The internet registry does not include Tier 1 offenders, who pose a low risk, police said.
