New Milford Firefighters Battle Early-Morning Bergenfield Blaze

NEW MILFORD, NJ — Borough firefighters battled a fire at a Bergenfield home early Monday morning.

Three fire units arrived at the Wood Avenue home just after 1 a.m., fire officials said. Firefighters stretched a water line to the home and hit hot spots with water, fire officials said.

Firefighters were at the scene for more than two hours before returning to New Milford.
