New Milford Firefighters Help Fight Bergenfield House Fire

NEW MILFORD, NJ — Borough firefighters assisted in battling a fire in Bergenfield Sunday morning.

The department was dispatched to a Beucler Place home at about 9:30 a.m., fire officials said. A fast-response team and a ladder truck were sent to the scene and began quickly spraying the fire with water, officials said.

Fire crews quickly vented the house and pulled ceilings and walls down to check for any fire; fire companies were at the scene for about two hours before they went back to New Milford, officials said.
