New Milford To Host America 250 Family Campout At Knights Field

NEW MILFORD, NJ — The Borough of New Milford is inviting residents to celebrate America's 250th anniversary with the REV 250 Family Campout at Knights Field later this month.

The camp out will be held on Friday, July 17. A rain date is scheduled for Saturday, July 18.

Tent setup begins at 6 p.m., followed by a community cookout at 6:30 p.m. Campers must remove tents by 10 a.m. Saturday.

The family-friendly event will feature arts and crafts, lawn games, shaved ice, popcorn, cotton candy, an outdoor movie after dark, and an ice cream truck with items available for purchase.

Registration is required, but there is no fee to attend. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Families are asked to bring their own tent, sleeping bags, snacks, and any additional non-alcoholic beverages.
