NEW MILFORD LOCAL BAND COMPETES IN STONY PONY SEMI-FINALS

The Neverends are set to perform in the semi-finals of the Rock To The Top Contest on November 9th at the famous Stone Pony

This past weekend The Neverends played in Kenilworth New Jersey for their first exclusive 18+ audience show. The show was a success and the band gained a new span of older fans. 2014 has been a successful year for the New Milford High School local band, The Neverends. Past shows this year included the New Milford Annual 5K Run, a performance at Ramsey High School, their fourth show at Mexicali Live in Teaneck, 10th Street Live, and multiple performances at the famous Stone Pony in Asbury Park. The Stone Pony is known to be the venue that started the careers of many native New Jersey musicians such as Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi. On November 9th, The Neverends will be advancing to the Semi-Final round of the Rock To The Top competition. Each round of the venue’s competition consists of 10 bands battling for a spot in the next advancement of the contest. The band that takes first place wins the opportunity to headline a show and open for a major national act at the Stone Pony, a recording session, $1,000 in promotional services, and a cash prize of $2,500. The four New Milford High School students have already astounded the judges with two amazing performances and have been awarded the chance to compete in the semi-finals. The Neverends is an alternative/indie rock band formed in New Milford, consisting of Myles Yambao (guitar, lead vocals), Stephen Pale (lead guitar, backing vocals), Jeremy Giannoulis (bass guitar), and Tyler Jon Becker (percussion). You can find the young New Milford native band’s music on Facebook, Youtube, and Soundcloud.
