New Milford Man Arrested For $41K In Unpaid Tolls, Fees
Police found Coombs had 642 open violations, authorities said.

NEW MILFORD, NJ — A borough man was arrested at the George Washington Bridge Friday who allegedly owed more than $41,000 in unpaid tolls and fees, authorities said.
Osigbemhe Coombs, 37, was at the bridge's lower level toll plaza in Fort Lee going toward New York at about 9 a.m. when Port Authority Police saw him proceed through an EZPass lane, said Joseph Pentangelo, a Port Authority Police spokesperson.
When police stopped Coomb's in his 2009 Toyota Camry and asked him to provide the vehicle's paperwork and an EZPass tag, which he could not, Pentangelo said.

Police found Coombs had 642 open violations, which totaled $41,200 in fees and unpaid tolls, Pentangelo said. Coombs was arrested, charged with theft of service and toll evasion and his vehicle was impounded.
