Knights beat Saddle Brook 12-0

After a season interrupted by flooded fields and unexpected snow, the Jr. Knights beat overwhelming odds to take home the Super Bowl trophy after Sunday’s 12-0 victory against Saddle Brook.

Despite the fact that the team went into the Super Bowl undefeated (10-0), they did not take anything for granted, playing a hard four quarters before a packed stadium.

“This is the game you’ll always remember,” Coach Rich LoRusso shouted to the team as they gathered on the sidelines during the final minutes of the game. Adding, “This game was hard earned and well won.”
