Little League Kicks Off Spring Season in New Milford

New Milford Little League officially opens their 2013 season with their Annual Parade and field ceremony. The ceremony included members of the Town Council and handing out the 2012 New Milford World Series Trophy to the Marlins.

While last year's Opening Day had a more somber meaning as Little League partipants remembered Melisa Sofia, the 2013 season began with a joyous occasion as New Milford High School Baseball Coach Mark Mongiardo threw out the first pitch.
