Ramsey Farmers' Market to Hold 'Apple Festival' Sunday, Sept. 28
The Ramsey Farmers' Market has been voted "Best in Bergen in 2013 and 2013" and features fresh, local produce and children activities.

The non-profit Ramsey Farmers’ Market will continue to be outdoors every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through November at the Main St train station.
Voted “Best in Bergen in 2013 and 2014,” the Ramsey Farmers’ Market features fresh, local, seasonal produce and products, including organic vegetables and fruits, artisan breads and cheeses, local wine, fresh fish from the Hampton Bays, gluten-free baked products and prepared foods, homemade pastas, sauces, soups, and chili, spices, gourmet olive oils and balsamic vinegar, hummus, made-on-site guacamole, pickles, gourmet nuts and dried fruits, local honey, handmade soaps and body products, homemade jams and jellies and much more from over 40 outstanding farmers and food purveyors.
This Sunday, Sept. 28, will be the farmer’s market’s Apple Festival and will feature music by Mark Bodino.

October events include Touch-a-Truck on Oct. 5, hosted by the Junior Woman’s Club; Wellness Day at the Market on Oct. 12, featuring demos and information from yoga, exercise, nutrition, acupuncture, message, chiropractics, Pilates, herbalists and other professionals, as well as flu shots offered by the Ramsey Health Department; and the annual Pumpkin Painting on Oct. 26, hosted by the Junior Woman’s Club.
Sundays at the Ramsey Farmers’ Market are filled with scheduled children’s activities, musicians, special events and guest visits.

The market will be moving inside Sundays in December through March and will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m at the Eric Smith School, located at 73 Monroe St in Ramsey.
