Borough Administrator Christine Demiris said Bravo did not take out a permit to film at the Garden Cafe which is a violation of the borough's ordinance. Demiris said someone associated with the filming contacted her office regarding the matter Friday morning.
"Her explanation was that they misread the borough ordinance and believed that a permit was not necessary if filming on private property," said Demiris.

Demiris said she along with NMPD Chief Frank Papapietro agreed that if the production completes the required paperwork, pays the permit fee and sends a letter of explanation as to why it was overlooked and agrees to follow the required procedures should there be any future filming, they will waive penalties.
She expects all of the paperwork and fees to be filed next week.
Bravo announced on June 7 that the Real Housewives of New Jersey, currently in its third season, will be returning for a fourth season.
The network did not respond to a request for comment from Patch.
