Realtors to Host Open House Weekend in Eastern Bergen

The Eastern Bergen County Board of Realtors® announced their participation in the Open House Weekend, a statewide event for potential home buyers and sellers.

The event is being held on Saturday April 2 and Sunday April 3. The majority of realtors in New Milford are hosting their open houses on Sunday--there are 10 scheduled throughout the borough.

“It’s a New Jersey home shopper’s dream,” said 2011 EBCBOR President Eileen O’Driscoll. “This special event allows prospective buyers the opportunity to save a great deal of time by visiting dozens of open houses in one weekend.”  

 O’Driscoll said housing in New Jersey is more affordable than it has been in years due to low mortgage rates. 

“Eastern Bergen County REALTORS® are ready to educate prospective buyers on why now is the time to act,” said O’Driscoll. “With low interest rates, historically low prices, and a wide variety of houses available at every price point, the current market presents an incredible opportunity for individuals looking to purchase their first home or even trade up.”
