When and Where: The New Meadowlands Fairgrounds, next to the New Meadowlands Stadium Stadium Stadium Road, East Rutherford. The fair runs from June 24 to July 10.
Why/Go: This fair is one of the Garden State’s biggest summer attractions as it features hundreds of rides, events, and entertainment including an alligator show, petting zoo, and circus entertainment.

Pricing: Monday through Thursday: $7 for age 13 & up, children 12 and under & Senior Citizens $5; Friday through Sunday: $9 for age 13 & up; children 12 and under & Senior Citizens $6; Parking is $4 Thursday through Sunday; Children under 34" are admitted free daily.
When/Where: Wilde Memorial Park, Maple Avenue, Glen Rock on June 23, through Sunday June 26; Thursday: 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday: 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Sunday: 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Why Go: Enjoy rides, games, and food. A pizza eating contest will also be held on Sunday June 26. Pizza donated by Johns Boy Pizza.
Pricing: $20 per day bracelets for unlimited rides

Where/When: Downtown Westwood, along Westwood Avenue, Saturday, June 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Why Go: The Westwood Chamber of Commerce is presenting the annual summer festival, which turns Westwood Avenue into a pedestrian shopping area by closing the street. Patrons will encounter shopping deals, food, health experts, inflatables for children and more.

Taste of Rutherford Festival
When/Where: Park Avenue in Rutherford on Thursday, June, 30.
Why Go: A must for all food enthusiasts, this festival offers food from some of the town’s best restaurants. Besides the great food, guests will also be treated to musical entertainment as well as a classic car show. Wine tasting will take place at Williams Plaza.
Pricing: Tickets can be purchased at the Rutherford Public Library as well as the Rutherford Downtown Department office. Guests can purchase a ticket $10 which guarantees 10 samples of food or $5 for five samples. Guests can expect to pay $10 for the wine tasting tent.

Where/When: This event will be held on Saturday, July 23 and Sunday June 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Washington Street and Railroad Avenue in Tenafly.
Why Go: Come enjoy entertainment as well as merchandise and food vendors including a ‘crafts corner’
Pricing: Admission is free.
August
Where: When: Van Saun Park in Paramus, August 14 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and August 15 from 10 a.m. -4 p.m.
Why Go?: This event includes live performances, displays, as well as educational activities for children including contests and games and crafts for sale. Get tips on lawn care, soil conservation, recycling, composting and more.
Pricing: Admission and parking are both free

The 96th Annual Saint Joseph Festival
When/Where: Labor Day Weekend on September 2, 3, 4, and 5 at 40 Spring Street, St. Joseph's Church and the rear of Kmart in Lodi; Friday 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday from 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Why Go: Come enjoy traditional Italian fare like sausage and peppers, zeppoles, gelato, pizza, and macaroni and meatballs; Live entertainment including music and carnival rides and games of chance
