VIDEO: Nikki Sixx Comes to Bookends
Huge crowd including New Milford residents gathered to see the rock star many said changed their lives.
Motley Crue co-founder Nikki Sixx was at in Ridgewood on Monday, where about 1,000 fans of the iconic metal band crowded on the streets and sidewalk waiting for a chance to meet the bass guitarist infamous for his hard-charging lifestyle. Many in the audience said they could relate to aspects of Sixx's life, and found inspiration from The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star, Sixx's new book detailing the struggles he had to overcome heroin addiction. Sixx signed autographed copies of the book for adoring fans. Check out the video for more.
