He's been at the pinnacle of sport and seen life spiral down a path of drugs and alcohol. One of boxing's greatest, Sugar Ray Leonard spoke to Patch for a few minutes on inspiration, tumult and triumph throughout his storied career.
Leonard was at on Wednesday to promote his new book The Big Fight, which also includes the revelation that he was sexually abused by an Olympic trainer.
He won the gold medal in 1976 at Montreal and since retiring has spent time advocating for juvenile diabetes research.
