$1 Million Lottery Ticket Sold In Berkeley Heights

Breaking: Are you the lucky winner? A $1 million New Jersey Powerball second-prize winning ticket was sold in Berkeley Heights.

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ — A $1 million New Jersey Powerball second-prize winning ticket for the Wednesday, July 12 drawing was sold in Union County.

The winning ticket matched the five white balls drawn was purchased at Country Farms, 378 Springfield Ave., in Berkeley Heights.

If that ticket had been purchased with the Power Play Multiplier option, it would have doubled the prize to $2 million.

The winning numbers for the July 12 drawing were: 01, 02, 18, 23 and 61. The Red Power Ball number was 09. The Multiplier number was 02.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $172,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

In addition, one New Jersey Lottery ticket was sold that matched the four white balls and the Powerball drawn, winning the $50,000 third prize. The ticket was purchased at World News & Tobacco, 139 North Delsea Drive, Vineland in Cumberland County.

In addition to the second and third-tier prizewinning tickets sold, there were 28,429 New Jersey players who took home an estimated $144,896 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200, according to Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger.
