
Local Stirling resident Aimee Ruiz has been elected to the New Jersey Amateur Racquetball Hall of Fame. Her induction ceremony and presentation will be at 6:30PM on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at The Racquet Club at Warren, NJ in conjunction with the New Jersey Open IRT Pro racquetball tournament.

- Two-time World Champion in doubles, winning the titles in 2006 and 2008.
- Three time Pan American Racquetball Champion in doubles in 2006, 2008 and 2009.
- Silver medalist in Team and Individual racquetball events at the 2012 Pan American Games.
- Two-time International Racquetball Federation (IRF) World Champion in women’s doubles.
- Seven US National Doubles Championship titles from 2005 to 2011.
(Although Ruiz is a doubles specialist, she won the US National Singles championship in 2009.)
- World Outdoor Racquetball (WOR) Women’s Doubles Champion 2010 & 2012.
- 2011 3 WallBall World Outdoor Championships – Women’s Doubles Champion.
- 2010 USAR Athlete of the Year.
Ms. Ruiz, (37) works at Prince/ Ektelon in Bordentown, NJ as their Promotion's Manager . She resides in Stirling, NJ.
