Aimee Ruiz to be Inducted into NJAR Hall of Fame

Local Stirling resident Aimee Ruiz has been elected to the New Jersey Amateur Racquetball Hall of Fame. Her induction ceremony and presentation will be at 6:30PM on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at The Racquet Club at Warren, NJ in conjunction with the New Jersey Open IRT Pro racquetball tournament.

 

Here is  a list of Ms. Ruiz’s racquetball accomplishments:

  • Two-time World Champion in doubles, winning the titles in 2006 and 2008.
  • Three time Pan American Racquetball Champion in doubles in 2006, 2008 and 2009.
  • Seven US National Doubles Championship titles from 2005 to 2011.

(Although Ruiz is a doubles specialist, she won the US National Singles championship in 2009.)

  • World Outdoor Racquetball (WOR) Women’s Doubles Champion 2010 & 2012.
  • 2011 3 WallBall World Outdoor Championships – Women’s Doubles Champion.
  • 2010 USAR Athlete of the Year.

Ms. Ruiz, (37) works at Prince/ Ektelon in Bordentown, NJ as their Promotion's Manager .  She resides in Stirling, NJ.
