Berkeley Heights Volunteer Rescue Squad Offers Free Community CPR
Join us for refreshments at our weekly Open House/Meet&Greet, Tuesdays, 7 to 9pm
The Berkeley Heights Volunteer Rescue Squad (BHVRS) is pleased to offer free, 1 hour, Community CPR courses: Sunday, May 19 at 3:30pm or Wednesday, May 22 at 7:00 pm. You (yes, you!) can save a person’s life by knowing CPR, how to use an AED, and helping someone who’s choking. To sign up or if you have any questions just email us at CPR@bhvrs.org or call 908-464-0013.
And if it’s Tuesday it must be time to visit the Rescue Squad! Come by our Open House/Meet&Greet. 7 to 9 pm.

Our members felt the same way. Many of us have jobs, children, and some attend school. The BHVRS makes it easy to volunteer. Members have the option of riding at night or during the day—and you do not need to stay at the building when you are on shift.
Most of our members did not work in the health care field before we became EMTs. You do not need any medical training. We will teach you everything you need to know—and we do not ask you for more than you can give or handle. All you need is a desire to learn and help.
