Photos: Boys' Lacrosse Falls to Mahwah in State Playoffs
Pioneers finish season with 16-3 record.
New Providence Boys' Varsity Lacrosse team faced Mahwah High School in the second round of the NJSIAA Tournament Group 1 playoffs Tuesday afternoon in New Providence.
The Pioneers were on a losing end of a 6-4 final score. Mahwah built a two goal lead at half time. The lead was cut lead to 1 goal at the end of the 3rd quarter, but could not get any closer.
Pioneers goals were scored by: Jonathan Ebert (2), James Burke, Jack Harvey. Goalie Brian Valerio had 16 saves.
