Photos: Pioneers Football Beats Belvidere 36-0 Under Lieder Field Lights
New Providence offense rolls in home opener.
It was a picture perfect night for the Pioneers first home game of the season on Friday, Sept. 14.
The Pioneer offense was rolling as they took a 29-0 lead at the end of the first half. The Pioneers' rushing attack was lead by Vinny Sidoli with 136 rushing yards. He had a 97-yard run in the second quarter.
Derek Singer scored two touchdowns in the first half. Quarterback Mike Marchesano threw a 67-yard pass to Michael Felezzola. The QB threw for 164 yards and two touchdowns.

Yamato Ejin capped off the scoring in the fourth quarter with a 57-yard touchdown run.
