Cougar Soccer Camp Set for July 25-29

CHS coaches lead camp for boys & girls K-8.

Boys and girls in grades kindergarten through 8th grade are invited to attend the fifth annual Cougar Soccer Camp during the week of July 25-29.

The Cougar Soccer Camp will once again be under the direction of Cranford High school boys' varsity coach Mike Curci, girls' varsity coach Jen Michewicz and P.J. Keim, director of Central Jersey Soccer Academy.

Curci, the 2007 Star-Ledger Union County Coach of the Year, guided CHS to three conference titles and their first-ever county championship in 2009 with a 22-1-2 record, finishing #7 in the state rankings. Coach Michewicz led her squad to the 2009 County title and a Top 20 ranking.

The weeklong camp stresses instruction on skills and technique all within a fun and encouraging environment. All players, from beginners to advanced are welcome. The camp will be held at Orange Ave. fields in Cranford.

Trainers consist of Celtic staff combined with varsity players from the boys' and girls' teams. The cost for the week is $190.00 and includes a soccer ball and camp tee-shirt. Campers from all area towns are welcome.
