Crafters and Artists Needed for Union County Harvest Festival

Learn about Early American crafts at the freeholders' annual September fest.

The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders is looking for artisans and crafts people to demonstrate Early American work and craft skills at the county’s 32nd Annual Harvest Festival.

The event is a celebration of Early American life featuring music, children’s crafts, games, demonstrations and displays, a petting zoo and more. Artists showing their wares will also have the opportunity to sell their creations.

Each year the festival attracts nearly 4,000 visitors and gives then a chance to learn about crafts and the Early American as they peruse old-school colonial and Native American skills such as blacksmithing, candle making, paper making, broom making, shoe making, hat making, jewelry making and quilting.
