Ever admired a piece of jewelry and were curious to know how to make it?
Would you like to have some fun re-designing some of your old or broken jewelry or making brand new pieces from scratch?
This class will introduce you to the following basic jewelry-making techniques:
layout and design, bead-stringing, end-crimping, and clasp attachment for a completely finished piece
Create a beautiful piece (or pieces!) of jewelry in this 2-hour class with the new techniques you will learn.
Materials included in workshop:
stringing wire, toggle clasp, use of tools, use of design board
Please note to bring materials that can be strung.
INSTRUCTOR: Fatima Lopes
Fatima has been designing and making multi-media jewelry since 2004.
She also teaches jewelry-making workshops for kids at school enrichment programs, summer activity programs and private parties year-round.
