Free Introductory class: Writers workshop NJ

Students
at every level will receive hands-on attention in limited-size classes. Writers
Workshop features a results-oriented format to help you improve your skills, so
you can reach your goals sooner.

College
Bound
is open to 10-12 high school students looking to hone
their writing skills for college essay applications, school term papers, and
improved critical thinking skills. Free Class Begins Tuesday, September 27th at 4:30 to 5:45: sign up for 8 week session to follow.

 Tell Your Story: The Basic Workshop is open to 10 to 12 adult writers eager to hone their writing
abilities.  Free class begins Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 7:30-8:45 pm. Sign up for 8 week session to follow. Aimed at anyone eager to begin personal memoirs or to
discover how better to tell the stories they’ve always wanted to write. Engage with and enjoy the writing process through imaginative exercises, free writing
time, and sharing.

Published
:  The select-enrollment Advanced Seminar offers intense critiques, individual
direction and professional techniques to no more than seven writers already
working on projects.  Free class September 21, 7:30 with 8 week session to follow. Will include detailed discussions and focused advice on fiction, nonfiction, drama, science fiction, science and technical writing, romance, screenwriting, memoirs, nature, and animal projects.  Admission by jury. Writers Workshop NJ, is owned and operated by Charles Neighbors, a published writer and professional editor who has worked in New York City, Texas and California. He will conduct the workshops personally at his home office in New Providence, New Jersey. A former literary agent in New York City and Texas, he closed his firm in 1990 to concentrate on book editing and literary ounseling.
