GL Baseball Fundraiser to Honor BJ Giannone on Tuesday vs. St. Peter's Prep
Giannone's parents to attend, throw out ceremonial first pitch.
The Gov. Livingston baseball team will host a fundraiser Tuesday, March 29, to raise money for the B.J. Giannone Foundation.
Giannone, who lived in Mountainside and attended St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City, died January 31, 2011 after participating in a high school swim meet.
With his high school team coming to Berkeley Heights for a pre-season game, organizers thought it a fitting tribute to hold the fundraiser.
