Gov. Livingston Varsity and JV Softball Capture County Crowns

It was a shining moment in the history of the Gov. Livingston girls' softball program, as both the varsity and junior varsity teams captured their respective Union County championship games this afternoon at Kean University in Union.

The varsity team, led by another outstanding pitching performance from sophomore Jordan Robbins (13-1), rolled past Westfield 8-1. The Blue Devils were a surprise finalist, considering they began the season with a 2-8 record.

Earlier in the afternoon, the Junior Varsity squad clinched their third consecutive county crown with a 6-3 victory.
