Scouts from 2 New Providence based Boy Scout troops spent last week at Sabattis Adventure Camp in the Adirondack mountains near Long Lake, NY. Each troop was assigned their own site on
the scout reservation but met up on a few occasions to share the fun. Sabattis is a "patrol method" camp where scouts set up their own tents and prepare their own meals in their site. During the week they work on merit badges and other advancement requirements. 31 boys and 9 adult leaders from the 2 troops made the 5 hour trip. Two boys from a Chatham Scout troop also spent the week with Troop 63.

Troop 1 meets at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, and Troop 63 meets at The Presbyterian Church at New Providence.
